Apartment a few meters from a beautiful and wild beach.
Apartment located in an ancient tuna fishery, in a stunning location on the beach of Porto Paglia, a few steps from the sea.
It is a complex dating back to the sixteenth century, lived in the past by tuna fishermen and located directly on the beach. The village was restored in the 80s and still keeps the ancient architecture wanted by Portuguese engineers that planned it.
The apartment is on two levels, separated by a large loft.
On the ground floor: living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, bathroom with shower.
In the loft: king bed and bunk bed, separated by a wooden wall.
The apartment has a small terrace at the entrance adjacent to other properties, with direct access to the beach and equipped with table and chairs, which offers a splendid view of the sea.
Private parking lot.
Table and chairs on the terrace.
The environment of Porto Paglia is unique for its beauty: apart from the village, you do not see a trace of sight of the man’s hand. A wonderful sea view that spreads to charming cliff Sugar Loaf which rises a little further north.
The beach is beautiful and unspoilt, with golden sand which degrades very slowly, lapped by crystal clear water.
A place away from the busy city, lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea. But also a place to spend lazy days, reading, or where and practice various hobbies: fishing, snorkeling and windsurfing.
Although it seems to be in a paradise away from all, the complex is in an optimal position a few kilometers you can find the most services.
Just 4 km away is the village of Gonnesa. There you can find various supermarkets, banks, post office, pharmacy, restaurants, the library.
At 12km there Iglesias provincial capital of Sulcis with all the amenities of a town of 30,000 people.
The road SS 130 to get from Cagliari is about 50 km across the dual carriageway. The road from Iglesias Porto Paglia is extremely convenient and straight, nothing compared with other coastal sardines.
**** The most beautiful beaches ****
A Buggerru we some wonderful beaches as Portixeddu and San Nicolò, treacherous sea, but a true spectacle of nature. Buggerru beach is loved by surfers while Cala Domestica is a real gem, with its double beach in the small cove.
Further south we enter the territory of Iglesias, the most famous beach is that of Masua, but you need to go very early to find a place. There are also Porto Corallo, Portu Banda and Portu Cauli while approaching the coast of Gonnesa. This one is really nice, a long sandy beach and dune, with a large pine forest – with a lot of shade and picnic tables – and an important wetland backwaters, which changes three times name: Fontanamare (on the right the dog beach), Plagemesu and Porto Paglia. Finally there is Punta ‘and arena. After the coast of Portoscuso, less famous also because of the large industrial complex being dismantled, but the coast is fantastic and largely unspoiled, lava flows, cliffs, coves and fossil dunes approaching Porto Paglia. Beautiful.
Much further south, on the border with Teulada, here Sant’Anna Arresi, with huge white dunes of the beautiful Porto Pino (in Porto Pino is the free beach dedicated to dogs). Also noteworthy Porto Pineddu, La spiaggia dei Francesi and of the port of de Trigu. Shortly before, in the territory of Masainas, here is Solinas.
Then there are the islands. Sant’Antioco Calasetta is divided between north, with the cute beach, under the tower, la “Spiaggia Grande” and the incredible postcard that is the beacon Mangiabarche (not to be missed in days with rough sea). And Sant’Antioco in the south, not to be missed especially the Coaquaddus beach, to Maladroxia and then Capo Sperone and the show is Praneddas with its natural swimming pool.
